The Generous Gardener Rose
Suddenly a break through moment when a picture can emerge. After weeks of unending pain and complete inability, just a little window - enough
to do a quick pastel of these beautiful roses that grow in my garden.
Can never do their beauty justice. Their scent is divine. Joy fills my
heart - joy above the pain which is still rampaging, but not
triumphing!
Thanks to everyone for your kindness , thoughts and all the healing
sent and most gratefully received. Every comment is precious and
loving. So sorry not able to read everyones blog or make individual
comments. A blessing to you all,
love Hopping Moon.

Such a beautiful picture, thanks you for sharing it with us and bringing joy to our hearts too.
That is such a beautiful pastel drawing, and the tulip below, I'm speechless, can I buy it and frame it? SO beautiful.
So sorry to hear you are so unwell, I've only just caught up with your blogs, glad you had a moment, a ray of light, to post this beautiful picture.
Oh that is such a beautiful pastel drawing, and I adore pale pink roses. I am praying that the pain will soon ease for you dear Hopping moon. My granddaughter will be going with school class next week accompanied by her R.E. Teacher to The Shrine at Walsingham. I send you love and my best wishes to you.

That is a quite wonderful sketch; as an artist I shudder at not being able to create, and salute your spirit. it seems so futile to say that I am sending you warm thoughts from here, but I am. And wishing you well for the future.

What a stunning picture.....I would so love to be able to capture the spirit of a flower like that... I'm so glad you were able to do it.
Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog - you really shouldn't comment if it tires you or prevents you reading more or writing or painting (I just love the knowledge that you like the blog and read it when you can!). I was wondering, would voice recognition software help at all? Might save you typing - but expect that's the least of it.
Loads of love - and to Tumbling.

I was thinking of you when I ran up the hill in the sunshine today and hoped that you could gain some strength and warmth from the sun's rays, so it is lovely to visit your page and seee the lovely pastel you have done. Roses are my favourite. Best wishes, Posie x
Thank you dear Hopping Moon for your comments. Yes granddaughter will be going to THE SHRINE, I got the date wrong I think it is next week. I visited The Shrine a few years ago, and lit some candles for a very dear friend, such a peaceful place. Hope your spirit has lifted a little Hopping Moon, sending you love and good wishes.

Oh bless you for worrying about my damp! I may have my head in the sand over this but I am figuring that, if the house next door (we'll be semi-detached) can fix their's then ours must be doable too. I think there is a drainage/ventilation problem not aided by a seasonal overflow of water that has been re-routed (so that's a battle we'll have to take up with the council). The good news is that the house is sort of built on a hill - so most of the living areas are actually higher than the damp (if that makes any sense)!! We're probably totally mad though....why oh why do I fall in love with totally inappropriate houses?! Lots of love Janexxxx
Hi, I hope that my pics give you the sense of being here and that you know that someone is thinking of you so far away.
Hello Hopping Moon, and Tumbling,

Dear Hopping Moon, and Tumbling,
Thank you so much for your comments and concern, most kind of you both. My husband is a little better, waiting to have a CT Scan later today, he is still having intravenous, for his fluids and antibiotics, luckily temperature is more stable now. What is the weather like in Walsingham, I get quite worried about these floods, horrid for travelling in. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you both my love, and best wishes.

Hello Hopping Moon and Tumbling,
Hope all is not too bad for you at the moment. Thank you so much for leaving me your comments. Yes it would be lovely to have a snug tea-room/book-shop. I used to visit an ex-patient I used to nurse, she went to the Sue Ryder Home, and I used to stop off before visiting and have a pot of tea and cakes. They also had some very nice old books for sale, together with many different gifts. I do believe it had to close, which was a great shame, so too the Sue Ryder Shop, as always all to do with finance as usual. Take care of yourselves, I will pop back again later.
Sending you my very best wishes.
